Report: Szoboszlai joining Liverpool in €70M move from Leipzig
Liverpool are adding another impressive piece to their midfield core.
The Reds finalized a deal Friday to sign Hungarian playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai after triggering the player’s €70-million (£60-million) release clause, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports.
Szoboszlai will become Liverpool’s second summer signing following midfielder Alexis Mac Allister‘s arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion. The club signed Mac Allister earlier in June for an initial £35 million.
Szoboszlai follows in the footsteps of Naby Keita, who spent time at Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig before moving to Merseyside. Keita left Liverpool this month after allowing his contract to expire.
