Lens sign ex-Leicester midfielder Nampalys Mendy on free transfer
Senegal midfielder Nampalys Mendy has signed a two-year deal with Lens as a free agent, last season’s Ligue 1 runners-up announced on Monday.
The 31-year-old was relegated from the Premier League with Leicester last season.
Mendy has made 27 international appearances for Senegal and was part of the side which won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
He also lifted the FA Cup that season with Leicester.
Lens have made a disappointing start to the campaign, picking up just one point from their opening four league matches.
