Al Thani pulls out of race to buy Manchester United – reports
“Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani was one of two main bidders for Manchester United after the Glazer family announced in 2022 that they were contemplating the sale of the club that they bought in 2005. However, reports suggest that he has now pulled out of negotiations, leaving British businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe as the last remaining potential bidder.”
