Wrexham win over Notts County ‘right up there’ as biggest victories – Phil Parkinson
Phil Parkinson has hailed Wrexham’s victory over Notts County as among the biggest since he took charge of the club.
The Welsh club triumphed 2-0 as last season’s two promoted sides from the National League went head-to-head in front of a bumper 16,083 crowd at Meadow Lane.
Ben Tozer and Ollie Palmer got the goals on an afternoon when Notts went close several times, most notably when David McGoldrick brought a stunning save from Arthur Okonkwo in between the two strikes.
