Wales forced to settle for play-offs after draw with Turkey and win for Croatia
“Wales will be forced to go into the play-offs to qualify for UEFA Euro 2024 as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Turkey on Tuesday. Elsewhere in the group Croatia beat Armenia 1-0 to ensure that the 2018 World Cup finalists secured the final qualification spot. Wales will now have to go through the play-offs route to try to earn their place in the finals in Germany next summer.”
