“Joe Cole has hailed Unai Emery for the job he has done at Aston Villa since taking over the role last season, which has seen the Spaniard guide Villa to a European finish for the first time since 2010/11 – where Emery has, according to Peter Crouch, an “unbelievable European pedigree”. Cole told TNT Sports ahead of Villa’s match against Brighton: “You have to give this man so much credit.””
