Exclusive: Man Utd would not have let De Gea go ‘in any other era’, says Ferdinand


“Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand suggested that his erstwhile Old Trafford colleague David de Gea would not have been let go by the club in “any other era” but the modern Premier League, because of his shot-stopping ability, though he understands why manager Erik ten Hag wanted to replace him with Andre Onana, brought in from Inter Milan.”
