Report: Chelsea ready to top Liverpool's record £110M bid for Caicedo

Chelsea are prepared to offer more than the £110 million that Liverpool agreed to pay Brighton & Hove Albion for Moises Caicedo in a last-ditch attempt to give the in-demand midfielder the move he’s always wanted, sources told The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg and Andy Hunter.

Shortly after Liverpool struck a deal with Brighton, Caicedo reportedly informed the Merseyside outfit that he prefers to join Chelsea. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed Brighton accepted an offer for the Ecuadorian international but didn’t confirm reports that the figure was a British-record £110 million.
