Liverpool FC midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club, extending his stay at Anfield for several more seasons.

The 23-year-old joined Liverpool from FC Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 and became an important player during the club’s title-winning campaign under manager Arne Slot.

Sources have indicated that Gravenberch’s new deal runs for six years and will keep the Netherlands international at Liverpool until the end of the 2031-32 season.

Although his form has fluctuated in recent months, the club believes the midfielder still has significant potential to develop further in the coming years.

Speaking after signing the extension, Gravenberch said he was pleased to commit his future to the club.

“I feel really, really good. I was really proud to extend my contract at such a big club, so I’m really happy that I can stay for many more years,” he said.

“I felt directly the trust from the club and also from the manager. The decision for me was easy to make. My family is also happy here.”

Gravenberch added that he now feels fully settled after spending nearly three years with the club.

“We are now here almost three years, so I know everything already. I’m happy that I’m here.”

Liverpool are also working to secure new contracts for several other key players, with discussions continuing with midfielders Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister as the club looks to maintain stability within its squad.
