Chelsea's Fofana set to be out for months after undergoing ACL surgery

“Wesley Fofana could be out for up to nine months after undergoing surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament injury. ACL surgery usually rules a player out of action for six to nine months. It is a blow for Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino as he looks to build a new-look starting XI ahead of the 2023-24 Premier League season which gets underway on August 11.”
