Costa Rica and Martinique faced off in this highly anticipated Group C match up at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. Costa Rica was a dominant force putting up a massive six goals from Kendall Waston (8′), Francisco Calvo (39′), Juan Pablo Vargas (53′) , Joel Campbell (58′) , Anthony Contreras (68′), and Diego Campos (89′). Martinique held their own by retaliating with four goals from Patrick Burner (18′, 78′) , Brighton Labeau (74′), Jonathan Mexique (92′) but weren’t able to handle the wrath of Costa Rica. Costa Rica took home the win with a 6-4 victory.
