Cuba and Guadeloupe faced off in the CONCACAF Gold Cup on Saturday, July 1st. Both teams were looking to increase their hopes of advancing past the group stage. Guadeloupe came out hot and scored three goals before the first half ended. Guadeloupe stayed in control during the second half, scoring yet another goal thanks to Anthony Baron’s dazzling footwork and ability to maneuver through multiple defenders. Moments later, Cuba scored a goal thanks to a penalty kick but in the end came up short with the final score being 4-1.
