Igor Tudor Leaves Stadium After Tottenham Defeat Amid Personal Issue
• Igor Tudor left the stadium immediately after Tottenham’s 3-0 loss due to a family matter
• Spurs’ poor form continues with fourth defeat in five league games
• Assistant Bruno Saltor says team is being punished for “every mistake”
Igor Tudor left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium immediately after Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest due to a personal family matter, a club official confirmed.
The result leaves Tottenham in 17th place in the Premier League table, just one point above West Ham United, with Forest moving above Spurs following the victory.
Assistant coach Bruno Saltor took charge of post-match media duties, explaining Tudor’s absence.
“Personal matters, family matters and I am stepping in as it is not the right time for him to speak,” Saltor said.
Tottenham’s defeat marked their fourth loss in five league matches under Tudor, increasing pressure on the head coach during a difficult run of form.
Saltor acknowledged the team’s struggles, pointing to costly errors as a key issue.
“Every mistake right now is going against us,” he said. “Every detail is going against us and it affects the players as well.
“You can see how much they are fighting. We are in a difficult situation.”
Despite the result, Saltor praised the supporters and insisted the squad remains determined to improve.
“The fans were outstanding today from before the game until the end,” he added. “We need to carry on because we care. We are a family and want to get out of this situation.”
Tottenham return to action after the international break with an away trip to Sunderland on April 12.
