Manchester United Duo Mbeumo and Sesko Withdraw From International Duty
• Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Šeško pull out of international squads due to fitness concerns
• Mbeumo misses Cameroon friendlies, while Šeško focuses on recovery with Slovenia
• Noussair Mazraoui returns to fitness and joins Morocco squad
Manchester United duo Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have withdrawn from their respective international squads ahead of the March fixtures.
Mbeumo was substituted during United’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth and has since left the Cameroon national team camp as a precaution.
He will miss upcoming friendlies against China national team and Australia national team.
Šeško has also withdrawn from the Slovenia national team squad as he continues to manage an ongoing issue, with the focus on ensuring full fitness for the remainder of the club season.
He will not feature in matches against Hungary national team and Montenegro national team.
There was positive news for United, however, as Noussair Mazraoui recovered from illness in time to link up with the Morocco national team.
Michael Carrick’s side now have an extended break after exiting the FA Cup and not competing in European competition this season.
United return to action on April 13 against Leeds United, before facing Chelsea and Brentford in the league.
