Then, Fidel Escobar scored a header to even the score for Panama, 1-1 in 26′. In 71′, Ismael Diaz found the net to give Panama a 2-1 lead. In stoppage time, El Salvador’s Mayer Gil scored to even the match at 2-2. Ultimately, this Panama and El Salvador match came out to a 2-2 draw, but Panama advanced and El Salvador did not.
