Report: Chelsea reject Man United’s 3rd bid for Mount


Chelsea have turned down Manchester United’s third bid for Mason Mount, sources told The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
Earlier Friday, United reportedly offered up to £55 million for the English midfielder, improving on the £50-million bid that Chelsea rejected earlier this week.
The Blues are apparently seeking £58 million plus £7 million in bonuses.
However, United told Chelsea they’d walk away if their latest offer wasn’t accepted, BBC Sport’s Simon Stone reports.
Mount appears ready to leave Chelsea despite the club’s attempts to sign him to a new contract. The 24-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal.
