Report: Kane won’t sign new Tottenham deal
Harry Kane has no intention of staying at Tottenham Hotspur beyond next season, according to Gary Jacobs of The Times.
If Tottenham decide against selling him this summer, they’ll run the risk of losing him for nothing when his contract expires in June 2024.
Spurs reportedly rejected Bayern Munich’s first two bids in the hopes of receiving closer to £100 million in one lump-sum payment.
Kane doesn’t appear to be tempted by Tottenham’s offer to significantly increase his wages. The 29-year-old currently earns around £200,000 weekly in base salary.
While Kane remains enthusiastic about joining Bayern – who could submit a third bid worth more than the £68.5 million previously tabled – sources told Jacobs the player won’t push for a move this summer.
