Report: Man United signing Amrabat on initial loan from Fiorentina
Manchester United are getting their midfielder.
After being linked with Sofyan Amrabat for much of the summer, the Red Devils finally reached an agreement with Fiorentina on deadline day for the Moroccan international, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
The 27-year-old will join the club on an initial season-long loan that will cost €10 million, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. Manchester United will have the option to make the deal permanent next summer for €20 million plus €5 million in potential add-ons.
United’s Financial Fair Play situation prevented them from striking a more traditionally structured transfer, according to Ornstein. Amrabat, left out of Fiorentina’s squad for the opening two Serie A matches amid uncertain
