Singapore begin World Cup Qualification campaign with Guam play off
Ticket sales for home leg at the National Stadium begin at noon on 23 September 2023
SINGAPORE, 22 SEPTEMBER 2023 – The Lions are set to embark on their qualification campaign for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 when they face Guam next month in a two-legged play off. The first leg is set to take place at the Singapore National Stadium on Thursday 12 October 2023 while the return leg takes place five days later at the GFA National Training Center in Harmon, Guam. The winner over these two legs will go on to Round 2 of the Qualifiers where they will be placed in Group C together with China, South Korea and Thailand.
