France, Portugal, Belgium qualify for Euro 2024; Ireland staying home

France and Portugal booked their places at next summer’s European Championship on Friday after victories extended their perfect records in qualification thus far.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice as France beat the Netherlands 2-1 in Amsterdam. Portugal overcame Slovakia with a 3-2 win thanks to Goncalo Ramos‘ header and Cristiano Ronaldo‘s double.
Belgium is also headed to Euro 2024 after Dodi Lukebakio‘s brace and Romelu Lukaku‘s clinical finish earned a 3-2 triumph over Austria. The only current blemish on the Red Devils’ qualification record is June’s 1-1 draw against the same opponent in Brussels.
Ireland can’t qualify for Euro 2024 following its 2-0 home defeat to Greece. Stephen
