Report: Man United signing Danish prodigy Hojlund for potential €85M
Manchester United reached an agreement with Atalanta on Saturday to sign 20-year-old forward Rasmus Hojlund, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils will pay around €75 million up front and another €10 million in add-ons, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia. The deal will represent a record-breaking sale for Atalanta.
United reportedly made bids worth €50 million and €60 million before agreeing to meet the Italian club’s asking price.
Paris Saint-Germain reportedly attempted to hijack United’s move for the player last week with a take-it-or-leave-it offer of €50 million. It’s unclear if PSG’s interest forced the English giants to raise their bid or if they had intended to do it anyway. Romano reported this week that United wanted to get a deal done
