Report: Spurs reject Bayern's latest Kane bid, could accept around £100M

Bayern Munich’s improved offer of around £70 million for striker Harry Kane was rejected, according to The Times’ Constantin Eckner.

Kane is reportedly eager to join Bayern and notified Tottenham Hotspur of his desire to leave after the rejection of the Bundesliga champions’ initial £60-million proposal.

Despite Spurs’ quick refusal of Bayern’s second approach, sources told Eckner that the club may accept a bid in the region of £100 million. The German giants are reportedly confident that a deal can be struck during the summer transfer window.

However, Spurs remain hopeful of re-signing the 29-year-old to a new contract if Bayern don’t submit a tempting offer, The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare reports. Kane will be available on a free transfer when his current terms expire on June 30, 2024.
