‘Statues galore’ – ‘Immortal’ City team ‘will go down in history’, says Ferdinand
“Manchester City players will “go down in history” according to BT Sport expert Rio Ferdinand. The former Manchester United defender said claiming the Treble meant the entire team deserves statues, and he went further, describing them as “immoral”. Ferdinand was speaking after City beat Inter Milan in the Champions League. It completes a hat-trick of trophies this season.”
