“Former Premier League referee and PGMOL chief Howard Webb believes Matteo Kovacic was “extremely fortunate” to avoid being sent off for his challenge on Martin Odegaard in Manchester City’s defeat to Arsenal. Speaking on ‘Match Officials Mic’d: Up’, Webb also revealed Simon Hooper “didn’t know at all” about the error to disallow Luis Diaz’s goal against Tottenham Hotspur until after the game.”
