- United prepare for Premier League match against Leeds United with key absences
Michael Carrick has received a squad boost with the return of Lisandro Martínez and Patrick Dorgu to the Manchester United group travelling to Ireland for a training camp.
Martínez has been included after a five match absence with a calf injury, providing a potential option in defence ahead of the upcoming fixture against Leeds United at Old Trafford. The club will assess his condition during the camp as they prepare for his possible return to match action.
Dorgu also returns after missing eight matches with a hamstring injury. The Denmark international has resumed training on the pitch and will continue his recovery programme while with the squad in Dublin.
Carrick will be without Harry Maguire, who is suspended following his red card in the draw with AFC Bournemouth.
Benjamin Sesko and Bryan Mbeumo are included after missing international duty, strengthening attacking options within the 25 player group.
Diogo Dalot and Tom Heaton will not travel as they continue to recover from illness. Matthijs de Ligt remains unavailable after a long term back injury.
Manchester United have not played since their 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium on March 20. The team currently sit third in the Premier League table with seven matches remaining as they aim to secure qualification for the Champions League.
