  • Dujon Sterling has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences
  • Police were called to a one vehicle crash in Cowcaddens in the early hours of Sunday
  • Police Scotland say Sterling is expected to appear in court at a later date

Rangers player Dujon Sterling has been arrested and charged after an alleged car crash in Glasgow, hours after he featured in his side’s 3-1 win over Celtic.

Sterling, 26, from Islington in London, played in Saturday’s Old Firm match at Celtic Park.

Police were called in the early hours of Sunday morning after a car crashed in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow. Sterling was not injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25am on Sunday, 4 January, 2026, police received a report of a one vehicle crash on West Graham Street, Glasgow.

“There were no injuries reported. The driver, a 26 year old man, was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.

“He’s expected to appear at court at a later date.”
