Antoine Semenyo has secured his long-term future with Bournemouth after agreeing to a new contract that runs through to the summer of 2030.

The 25-year-old attacker, who represents Ghana, originally joined the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023 and had already committed to a multi-year deal last year. Since arriving on the south coast, he has featured in 89 matches and scored 22 times—13 of those goals coming in a standout 2024–25 campaign that helped Bournemouth clinch a ninth-place Premier League finish.

“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” Semenyo said. “From the fans to the staff and my team-mates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner.”

The extension comes at a welcome moment for manager Andoni Iraola, after two key departures—left-back Milos Kerkez heading to Liverpool and centre-back Dean Huijsen making the move to Real Madrid.

Semenyo had recently been tracked by Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham, but his decision to stay offers Bournemouth added continuity up front in a summer of squad changes.
